Hope Lutheran Church's Confirmation Program Grades 7-9 2006 - 2007 dates of classes All Day Confirmation - Oct 25th, Nov 29th, Jan 31st, March 28th (WHA students need to fill out a release time sheet and turn into school office.) Confirmation Expectations Expectations for the teacher/pastor/small group leaders: Be prepared for class. Teach with enthusiasm and openness. Be fair, and treat students with respect. Be positive Christian role model for everyone in the class. Worship regularly. Expectations for the parent(s)/guardians: Assist your child with homework assignments. Assist with course work, and be sure that your child is attending class regularly. Live the faith by discussing and bearing witness to the Biblical teachings. Worship regularly. Expectations for the confirmands: Display a sincere desire to grow in your faith, and to support your fellow classmates as they grow in their faith. To be a community of faith for one another. Give full attention to your studies, and complete all homework assignments as you would at school. Worship regularly (25 sermon notes/year is minimum)
