Duties of Each Board:
THE BOARD OF PROPERTY is responsible for:

            1. Supervising and Maintaining Church properties.
            2. Evaluating the work of the custodian.
            3. Supervise the acquisition of all real property and the disbursements of such property.

  

The BOARD OF WORSHIP is responsible for :
            1.  Music, including the choirs.
            2. Overseeing all aspects of worship services.
            3. Evaluating work of the Director of Worship & Music. 
            4. Spiritual growth of the congregation.

 

The BOARD OF OUTREACH is responsible for:
            1. Evangelism, publicity, missions.
            2. Visitors and new members.           
            3. Responsibility for media ministries into the community.

           

The BOARD OF EDUCATION is responsible for:           
            1. Children’s Education programs such as Sunday school, released time school, vacation bible school
            2. Adult and Family Christian education programs.
            3. Evaluating work of the Director of Christian Educatio
n

 

The BOARD OF DISCIPLESHIP is responsible for:
            1. Discipleship programming, particularly the formation of small groups that provide spiritual growth,foster community, offer care
                and compassion, and support and renew members’ daily lives.
            2. Adult social and recreational activities

           

The BOARD OF FINANCE is responsible for:           
            1. Recommending to the Council
an Annual Budget, a 3-year financial forecast and long-range financial plans.           
            2. Review non-budgeted expenditures and recommend action to the Council
.           
            3. Review and recommend appropriate insurance coverage for the congregation.           
            4. Review and recommend direction for handling congregational investments and other assets.

 

The BOARD OF YOUTH AND FAMILY LIFE is responsible for:
            1. Youth programs, such as recreational activities, service projects, fund raising activities, and coordinatingcommunity youth 
                 programs with other churches and organizations.
            2. Evaluation of the Director of Youth and Family Life            
            3. Oversight of the Youth Budget, supported by youth fundraising income and expense.
            4. Collaborate with the Youth Committee to empower youth, and enhance Youth and Family programming
